Terms and conditions
These terms apply to all users of the domain thericeco.com and their sub-domains (henceforth: the site). The Terms and Conditions will be valid for all your future transactions with NVR-LND International S.L – The Rice Co. (henceforth: Rice; may be referred to as ’us’) and visits to the site. Rice reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions. The date of the latest update is found in the final section of the Terms and Conditions. Users are responsible for keeping themselves updated with such changes.
Rice does not guarantee that all items included in the Rice web shop are in stock at the time of your order. In the event of a backorder, Rice will contact you shortly by phone or by e-mail. Rice cannot promise that the content of the site is free of inaccuracies or typographical errors at all times. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. Rice may, at any time, amend the content of the site. Although Rice strives to display the correct texts, images and pricing on the site and web shop, errors may occur. If you have been charged the wrong amount in the web shop, Rice will give you the option of placing a new order with the correct price or canceling your order. Rice, however, reserves the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch should we find that the price is incorrect. In such case we will notify you by email. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be automatically cancelled. Part of the services mediated through the site are maintained by outside organizations. In situations where Rice acts as agent for such services, we cannot be held responsible for any errors resulting from their activities. Rice cannot be held responsible for any damaged caused from using the site or, for that matter, not being able to use the site. Rice cannot guarantee problem-free, uninterrupted, and secure access to the site.
When using Rice Website and/or placing an order on Rice Website you confirm that you have read our Terms and Conditions and that you accept them. Please make sure that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions before you place an order.
Please note that items in your cart are not reserved, they may be purchased by other customers until you have purchased the order at checkout and received a order confirmation.
As soon as your order is placed, an order confirmation is sent to the email address you registered in the checkout. The order confirmation contains your order number, details of the item that you ordered, payment and delivery details. Please note that the confirmation e-mail is only an acknowledgement that we have received your order, is not an acceptance of the order.
Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, a shipping confirmation will be sent with all relevant information about your order. You will receive a tracking link from our currier in your shipping confirmation email. If you have not received your tracking link, please contact us and we will help you.
We accept payments with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal.
If you pay by credit card the total amount will be reserved on your account immediately when the order is placed. The money is then charged when your order is registered for delivery from our warehouse. You will then receive a confirmation containing a receipt of the purchase.
We do our best to make our Website as secure as possible to shop at. All credit/debit card transactions on our Website are processed using Redsys, which is a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.
At Rice we offer three different delivery methods that are listed in the check out. We aim to ship all orders within 24 hours on business days. Please note that shipping times may be affected during peak periods (e.g. holidays, new releases or black friday) and the processing of your order may then take up to 48 hours.

Returns and exchanges
The products featured in our Outlet section cannot be changes or returned. Please make sure you select the right model and size.
For the rest of products, you are entitled to return your order within 14 days after receiving the delivery (return must be shipped by day 14). The package may be opened upon receipt, but all items returned must be unused (in the same condition received). All original packaging must also be returned unused.
Sales items may not be exchanged.
Exchanges can only be made within 14 days after receiving the delivery for the same model and will be subject to stock-availability at the time your return is received at our warehouse. No additional shipping costs or returns fee will be applied for exchanges.
Please follow these steps to return or exchange your item:
1. Place the items that you want to return in the original package
2. Ask for the return form at email@example.com, print it, fill it and put it in the box.
3. Send the parcel with any courrier at your own cost to: C/ Martinez de la Rosa 16, 08012
Receiving a faulty item
If you receive a faulty item, please notify us immediately. Please note that normal wear and tear do not constitute a faulty item. Customer should notify Rice within reasonable time from first purchase. A reasonable timing is considered below 14 working days. To be able to change the product it has to be new.

In accordance with the provisions of the Ley Organica 15/1999, December 13th, on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPD), Rice informs the users of its website that the personal data collected by the company, through the forms located in its pages, will be entered in an automated file under the responsibility of Rice, with the purpose of facilitating, expediting and fulfilling the commitments established between both parties.
All personal information saved at the site will be handled with the most utmost care. The information that we store will not be sold or used for any purposes other than ensuring the best service possible. It will solely be used for informing you about special offers and other marketing opportunities related to the different divisions of Rice. Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties only when it is necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. When registering with the site, you have the option not to receive any information from Rice. If you wish to end your Rice subscription , you may make the changes in your account settings or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. State your name and email address and a short description of the matter in the email message.
You have the right to review your information on file at any time. This can be accessed by emailing email@example.com. If the data is incomplete or incorrect, you have the right to have the information corrected. All customers paying by card are subject to validation checks. Rice reserves the right to delay any order if fraud is suspected. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.
Rice use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. Rice web shop uses the Thawte SSL Certificates, which secures communications by encrypting all data to and from the site.
Cookies are used on the site to improve your browsing experience. In addition to use for statistical purposes, coookies identifies your computer and allows the site to recall your personal settings. You browser can be set to send a notification when a cookie is activated. This allows you to deny use of this cookie or to delete the cookie at the end of your visit.
The site may contain links to other websites beyond our reach. We cannot be held liable for content or privacy policies of such sites.
We cannot guarantee that colors on the website will be true to life. This depends partly on the color settings of your computer and monitor.
Violation of rules
Rice reserves the right to seek all solutions available at law and in equity for violations of these Terms and Conditions, including the right to block access to the site. Individuals violating the restriction of password-protected areas of the site may be subject to prosecution.
In case of Force Majeure, Rice obligations will be suspended. The contract between you and Rice can, in such cases, be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by Rice. A Force Majeure is in the event of war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, lockout, blockage, failure of electricity, telephone or internet service, natural disasters or similar events. Under such circumstances, Rice will attempt to resolve all issues in a timely manner.
Duties & taxes
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Rice cannot control and is not responsible for any duties/taxes applied to your package upon delivery. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Note, on rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.
